Mod Squad Challenge

Encouragement is the theme for this weeks Mod Squad Challenge

I was playing around and having fun with watercolors the other day.  I did quite a few for practice.  I liked this one the best, so I made this card for the challenge with it.  Take a peek at the other practice ones.

I used various stamps Distress Inks and then a brush with very little water to make these.  The butterfly is GKD, the Lilac is from Power Poppy and the arrangement is from Wplus9.

You can see on the butterfly wing, that I used too much water.

Watch the video by Dawn Woleslagle HERE.  This is just one, as she has many.

 Here is my card.

The ingredients:
Bazzill Tea Green card stock for the base and embossed layer
SU embossing folder
Wplus9 stamps, Fresh Cut Containers and More Fresh Cuts
Distress Inks, metal heart, gold pearl and ribbon from my stash
Sentiment embossed with gold is from Power Poppy Lilac Time
Tag die from Lil Inkers

I am entering this card in the Mod Squad Challenge this week http://modsquadchallenge.blogspot.com/
Thanks for stopping in.  Enjoy your day and there is lots of time to join this challenge.  I will be looking for you!
