JUGS Challenge Wild Card Week #295


I realized that I had not posted since May 24th!!!! What is up with that?  I don't have a temperature, or feel unwell. But I forced myself to make a card today, and now..... I feel better!  Ahhh!

Just us Girls has a Challenge this week that is a Wild Card Week.  My creative and talented friend Sharyn Polesel, has chosen Paper Piecing, because she loves to do that.  I tell her all of the time that I want to be just like her when I grow up.  So here goes. 


                                                                   This is my card

 
Here are the ingredients:
 
GKD cardstock in Dusty Sage and Tomato Soup and Tomato Soup ink
Doily from my stash sponged with Distress ink, Antique Linen ( looks like it has been in the dirt)
Wheel Barrel and Arrow die cut from a friend, ( Kathy Krug)

Stamp set, WPlus9 Hope Seed Co.
Design paper from my stash ( honestly, don't know where they are from) Judy Dots & sequins.
Only the poppies are paper pieced.

    I love your paper pieced flowers....so pretty! Your background paper has such wonderful colors in it and I love the antique linen edges.....beautiful card. Thanks for joining us at Just Us Girls!

    I love, love , love how you use some of these dies as backgrounds for focal images. I remember you used a bird cage as the backdrop for the beautiful magnolia. I must remember this use. Fabulous design and colors.

    This is such an awesome composition! I love those paper pieced flowers with the addition of the wheelbarrow and that distressed doily. This is beautiful! Thanks for playing with us at JUGS!

    Oh my gosh, I love, love, love all your layering - so many elements here. It's like a beautiful collage - I don't know how you and Donna do it. I can't seem to get the ideas in my head. Your paper piecing is so cute - love the flowers you chose. Super cute card!!

    Love the wheel barrel with the seeds of flowers and the paper pieced flowers so beautiful! Beautiful background paper and awesome die ! Gorgeous creation!

    YOWZA!!! Oooh love the wheelbarrow, the seed packet, the little seed company sentiment, love ALL of this. Oh and the layers and that background die--gorgeous!!! And the DP....and the colors and the layout.....I told you I LOVED it ALL!!!
