Mod Squad Challenge - Flower as the focal image

My friend Kathy Krug is hosting the challenge this week.  I fondly call her the "Queen" of die cuts.  She does them like no one else.  I hope she knows that I am trying my best to copy her technique.  I did lots of texture and layers.  How did I do Kathy?
Spellbinder Decorative labels 8
EFcut to fit in the center, Cuttle Bug wicker Weave
Flowers and Leaves from Heartfelt Creations
Sizzix Flourishes
Seed beads from my stash.

This will need to be a hand delivered card, as I am not clever enough to send it in the mail.

I will be entering this in the Mod Squad Challenge  that Kathy is hosting.

  1. Holy Smokes! You have given Kathy a run for her money, I agree, she is the Queen of die cuts AND paper gardening! Your card is magnificent!!! Those flowers are absolutely GORGEOUS! You're going to need a bigger envelope! ;)

  2. Fantastic card design. I think you did an awesome job with all those layers and the dimension in your card. Love those flowers.

  3. What Donna and Verna said. Love this design. Thanks for taking time to participate. Put a piece of card stock over the design to protect it when you mail it or hand carry this lovely.

  4. Your flowers are so pretty Barbara!! They look so real!! This is to pretty to get squished in the mail. You could frame this in a shadow box too!!

  5. Oh, Barbara, I think you did a fabulous job, and your flowers are so beautifully shaped to give them such smooth dimension! Stunning! And what texture too. I love the dies you've used, and you've made a gorgeous card, my friend! You can be very proud! Hugs!

  6. Look at all the detail and layers of die cuts! And those flowers are amazing! Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog!

  7. Beautiful color against the white! Can't go wrong with HFC flowers~
