Fun With Daisies

We had some much needed rain this morning.  It was thundering and the rain came in buckets.  What does that have to do with this post?  Well, our walk was much shorter, and that gave me time to get into the craft room. Hubby just left for golf and I have the house to myself.  I am going to post this card and it will be the last for awhile as I am closing up my craft room and going on VACATION!

Here is the card that I made for the Double D Challenge  Use Neutrals
and Simon Says Wednesday   Make for the Border

Ingredients:  Altenew Spring Daisy stamp
GKD White and Kraft card stock
GKD White, Kraft and Warm Cocoa inks
Striped vellum from Papertrey Ink  Sponged with Warm Cocoa ink under the flowers
Swiss dot embossing folder with Warm Cocoa ink
Lil Inker stitched rectangles and DieNamics Sentiment dies
Glossy accents on the sentiment, white gel pen
OK, that is about all I got, except for a big Thank You for leaving a comment.

  2. Fabulous design. Glad you found one more day to play. Love how you did the background with the striped vellum and Swiss dots. Your flowers are gorgeous. Did you white wash? Sentiment is perfect for this design. Have a wonderful trip.

  9. This is absolutely stunning, my dear. I just love how those flowers look, it took me awhile to see how you did them. So different and creative!! I am so envious of your trip, although we will be going up to Lake Superior soon, and I will have to close my craft room door as well.
