Hot House Roses - Power and Spark Challenge

Stacy wants us to use winter blooms for this challenge.  I am hoping, if a flower  is grown in a hot house over the winter, that would be acceptable. If you want a rose in winter, in Wisconsin, it must be from a hot house. I had some digital images of roses that I had colored some time ago and wanted to use them.  They are so refreshing and a wonderful relief from the winter snow and cold. I love roses.
Here is the card that I made.

For this card is simply printed two images of the Rose and Chamomile and fussy cut them out after coloring with copics.  I decided to highlight them in a circle and used some green( it really is green, but looks blue here) gingham paper from My Favorite Things Homespun pack.  I liked how this looked so much that I used a leftover circle to die cut Hello with Simon Says die and used the negative. I inserted the white Hello into that negative.

Here is a close up of the hot house roses.

I will be entering this in the Power and Spark Challenge

This challenge last for a month and there is plenty of time to enter.
Thanks for making my day with your comments.

  3. I would think hot house roses would qualify just fine! And what about all the winter flowers that are blooming in warmer locations? You can't go wrong, especially with something this gorgeous. I LOVE the circle layout with the gingham and the die cut "hello" inset. It's all just so pretty!
