Celebrating the Past, Present and Future: 2007

Papertrey Ink is celebrating the past 10 years.  They have shown us five stamp sets from 2007, and asked us to dust them off and make a card.  Or, you can draw inspiration from a card shown in the challenge.  That is what I have done here.  This card was done by Heather Nichols and it is a beauty.

I looked to my stamps set as I did not have the Spiral Bouquet that Heather used, and I found one that worked well for this CASE. It was Flower Favorites, one that I used often.

Here is my take on Heather's card.

Card stock PTI, Soft Stone, and GKD Moonlit Fog
Stamp set, PTI Flower Favorites
Ink, GDK Moonlit Fog and Dusty Rose
Gingham ribbon and two gems from my stash

Thanks so much for stopping by, you comments brighten my day.

  1. Beautiful card Barbara! Love that color too.

  2. Oh I love what you have done here! That Flower Favorites is certainly a favorite of mine! Gorgeous colors, love your background. If this card doesn't scream Spring I don't know what does! And I always love a black and white gingham ribbon on every color of card, this looks beautiful! Divine!

  3. Great CASE! I actually like yours a whole lot better!

  4. LOVE what you have done with that set. I'm pinning for the future. Your colors are perfect for spring, and I really like that the background is the same as the focal. Also LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Moonlit Fog instead of black. AWESOME!!!

  5. Beautiful card and great colors too! I like the way you used the Moonlit Fog and Dusty Rose too.

  6. Beautiful case --- love your sparkly flower centers!

  7. Amazing how close you came to heather's card. Love the colors.

  8. I think your flower choice was perfect. Love the colors and that stamp set. I just bought it, but haven't had a time to play with it yet. Beautiful card!
