Almost done!  I am  been continuing with this challenges here at Papertrey Ink and I am almost done.  Today I have chosen to to a card that was done by Melissa.  She used the die called You've Been Framed Hexagon.

                                                  This is Melissa's card.

                                                     My take on her card.
I tried to do a free hand hexagon, but as you see, I didn't accomplish that. I just switched up to a oval.  I used DP from my stash and Dusty Rose and Warm Cocoa inks.  The card stock is Soft Sand and from GKD.  The stamp set is Quilted Summer.  I used some rectangle and oval stitched dies from Lil' Inker.
Thanks for stopping in.  I do appreciated your comments.  Must get the next card done for the 10 day challenge, as we have family coming this week.  Yeah!

  1. Yeah I don't think I could do a free-hand anything, dies make life so much easier! Love your card, that stitched frame is so pretty as are you Papers, love the stamping on the DP itself, very pretty! Have FUN with the family, yahoo! Oh and post before 7 a.m. tomorrow! Good Luck! xo~

  2. Hexagons are awful to do free hand. It's impossible to get all the sides exactly equal, I have tried. I love what you have done here....did you stamp on the polka dot paper with that pretty floral? I never think to stamp on patterned paper and sometimes it comes out spectacular. Yet another thing to stash away in my already full brain. I really like your color choices, fabulous CASE and fabulous card!

  3. I love your rendition of Melissa's design. Both of you created gorgeous cards. I like the use of the oval on yours. I know I could not do a freehand hexagon either.

  4. Great CASE...love the fun design. I really like the oval better. It has such a clean, crisp look to it. Pretty papers too!
