Creative Confetti - Sparkle in the shade

This challenge is exactally what it say it is.  Create a monochromatic with a hint of sparkle.
Grab a cup of coffee and I will tell you about how this card came about.

This is the digital image from Power Poppy called Easy Breezy Coneflowers.  I like digital images as I can take tons of them with me on a disc, when I go to Florida for the winter.  I printed this one on card stock ages ago and really didn't like the design.   But I did run it through my Minc with some sparkly gold foil.  There is stayed for quite sometime until this challenge.  I thought that if I didn't like the design, I could just cut some squares out of the parts that I did like. Using my square Spellbinder dies, I did just that. Layered up these squares on more Sweet Corn and then on a embossed panel of the same card stock. I did color them with some Copic markers for more detail.
This angle shows the sparkle and shine.

I am entering this in the Creative Confetti challenge for this week.  Thanks for stopping by with your comments.

  1. I love, love, LOVE how this turned out. First of all, that yellow color is just spectacular, really pretty. And the texture on the background is awesome. And then you foiled the flowers, that is just GENIUS!!!! I ADORE THIS CARD!

  2. So very gorgeous and elegant looking with the foiling of the flowers. I love the textured background too.
