#11 Twofer Challenge - Wreath

This month the challenge is a word prompt and it is appropriately WREATH.  Since I have all of the Christmas cards done, I have some time on my hands and decided to make two cards. One Christmas and the other an encouraging card.  I used the same stamp that has not gotten inky except maybe once.  So sad!  My new plan is to use the stamps that I have and cut down on buying more.  Notice that I said cut down, not stop!  It would be too hard.  Anyway, here are my cards for this fun challenge.

Supplies for these cards:
Paper Try Ink stamp Harvest Berries
On the left: SU Early Espresso Ink, Wrapped Scalloped Rectangle die by Memory box. White and Dark chocolate card stock.
The card on the right uses the Gina K Designs Wreath builder.  I stamped the wreath with Tranquil Teal ink on a piece of card stock that I had foiled,  You can see the shine in this picture. The berries are stamped in the Coral Reef ink and I used Coral Reef card stock with a few scored lines on the bottom.
Thanks for stopping in for a closer look.  I sure appreciate the comments if you care to leave them.

  1. Your cards are gorgeous and a lovely way to use those leaves. I am trying to cut down too and use what I have. Not an easy task as so many things tempt me. LOL

  4. I have that ginkgo set from PTI, Barbara, and I forgot all about it. Thank you for the reminder! I love how you used it here for your encouragement card design and it was very creative of you to use it to make a Christmas wreath! It worked great! Love the colors and the score lines! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #11! (I hope your new goal works out! I say the same thing every six months, lol!) Hugs, Darnell

  6. This is a great Challenge, I love the 2 totally different looks, I should head on over there at some point lol The teal one is my favorite, the red and teal are such a cool color combo. Yet the other draws me in for other and equally beautiful reasons! Well done! Oh and I haven't forgotten about your Queen Anne Lace stamp, it's just sitting right next to me waiting to jump into an envelope! :P

  7. I played along this month with Twofer, but haven't posted yet! I am going to call it now.. you will be a....WINNER! I am going to join you in your goal, to cut down on stamps but not quit entirely! That would be impossible! Of course, with these cards you aren't helping me as now I feel the need for that PTI stamp. Thanks ;)

  10. Those gingko leaves make such a pretty Christmas wreath, Barbara ... the touches of red with the teal are so deliciously festive! Your encouragement card is wonderfully elegant ... the monochrome browns are calm and serene ... and perfect with the sentiment! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Anita :)
