Here is my card
I think that this if the first time I have made a round card. I also probably put more green on it than a touch. I hoped that keeping it light it would fit the bill anyway.
This is Power Poppy Hydrangea digital stamp
Colored with Copic markers and Novo drops of gold for the center of the flowers. I die cut it with a stitched circle die from Lil Inkers and left the die in place and sponged a little green around the edges. The sentiment is Simon Says Stamps Handwritten Borders.
I did make an envelope for this card. Inside the envelope is my handmade
watercolor design to add some pizzaz to the envelope and card.

Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your comments!
I love this!!! That green is so soft and beautiful. Why do I not make more un-square/rectangle cards. They are always so fun. Your coloring is wonderful, and I think the little gold centers just finish off this card. Thanks for the inspiration, my friend!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful image and loooooove your coloring! I haven't made a round card in ages. How fun!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great to me. Love the heart shape and that you made it a round card.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty image, and so beautifully coloured! Love the little pops of gold in the floret centres, too.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done Barbara. The soft greens look amazing on your gorgeous floral design.
ReplyDeleteI think I have made two round cards in twelve years. LOL. And of course mine weren't as incredible as this one! Love that you added the touch of green on the edge too! So lovely one again!
ReplyDeleteSo lovely! The soft green and the pretty heart go so well together, and the little drops of gold in the center is just charming! Can't believe it is your first time making a circular card - its so wonderful!
ReplyDeleteLove your beautiful heart shaped hydrangea with the soft greens and tiny bit of gold in the flower centers! And the heart shape works so perfectly on your round card. I'm glad to see someone else used a bit more than "a touch" of green on their card ;-).
ReplyDeleteLovely card.
ReplyDeleteWow! Awesome circle card, the green flowers are beautifully coloured, such a unique card, Cathy x
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautifully colored heart
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are colored beautifully with a little touch of green, and I like the round card design - something I don't think I've ever made to be honest! The peek inside the envelope is fabulous too! What a beautiful birthday design!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous! Perfect imaging for a circular card and I love your colouring.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, and beautifully coloured, Barbara!
