I was really intrigued by that chair in the right lower panel and I started out to make it.
Here is my take on that.
This is a Power Poppy Stamp called So Grateful. I changed it up because I wanted to recreate the pot on the chair. See the stamp below has a pumpkin on the chair. I carefully stamped the chair without putting ink on the pumpkin and then used another stamp from Power Poppy called Woodland Carpet and just used the violets that are on the upper right corner, to the chair seat.
I think you get the idea. I had to draw in a few lines. I think it was worth it.
I die is Penny Black Border Edges. I hope that you go over to see the BLOG for more inspiration on this challenge.
Here is the prize some random winner will receive.
Love the stamp used, Power Poppy stamps are always so pretty as is this card.x
ReplyDeleteWell done, masking can be such a wonderful way to expand our already extensive collections lol This came out beautifully. Those leaves POP and are so realistic, I love a chair in a garden too, mine disintegrated lol
ReplyDeleteWow, what a creative way to use the stamps, stunningly beautiful!! I have a garden chair too, but surely not as pretty as this one!!

ReplyDeleteWow Barbara, your creative stamping is amazing! What a lovely card and so clever of you to create the scene that you did using those stamps. I have an old rocking chair in my garden as well. No seat, but flowers coming through the hole. I love your beautiful inspiration for this challenge!
ReplyDeleteThat is so beautiful. The no line coloring is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! That border die...amazing! I love how you combined your stamps to come up with the violets on the chair. And, as always, your coloring is top notch. Over all refreshing design!
ReplyDeleteI wonder who put a chair in a garden first? Why did they think of it? Do you ever wonder these silly questions? I I wish I had a garden that was this pretty! Stamping that chair without the pumpkin had to be a little tricky! This is a gorgeous card my friend!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet card, I LOVE your coloring and the way you have put those flowers on the old chair. How clever and creative. It's PERFECT. And as always I love that border. I think I need it, every time you and Donna use it I am in love. Well done, my friend. Happy Mother's Day.
