Golden Pumpkins and Leaves

There is a new challenge out there called Color Hues! They are doing very well and I thought I would join in for this two week challenge.  Take a look at the colors.  Scrumpcious Gold and Cream.  So many kinds of occasions can be done in these colors.  I needed a card for a friend who is recovering at home from some recent surgery. This card will go along with some quick and easy meals for her to repair. It's good to do some kind things while we are all going through some difficult times.  It just feels good. 


Ok, so here is the card that I made. 
I have seen this embossing folder used recently in so many different ways.  I have only used it for baby cards. So this opened up a bunch of new ways to use older supplies.  The cardstock is Gina K Ivory and Gold.

    This is so pretty. How creative to use the gold and cream, but use pumpkins. I love it. And I also love that embossing folder. I have tried all kinds of ways to Sunday to find it, and it's retired and not available anywhere, not even EBay. You are lucky to own it. Sure does showcase your image well. GORGEOUS card!

    This is gorgeous! Loooove the gold pumpkins and foliage, sooooo elegant! Great way to ground the die cuts too! Fantastic!

    I love that EF too, why do they retire the ones you want? It makes the perfect backdrop to your pumpkins, sure your friend will appreciate the food as well as this fab card.
