Pure Fragrance and Volumes of Beauty

Hello and welcome to a Blog Hop from Power Poppy Stamps. These two digi's were designed by Marcella for Kit and Clowder originally and now are available to you as digital images. They are some intricate beauties to color up. Take a look at these images colored by Alyce at Kit and Clowder.

Such an opportunity to color these flowers and to learn how to color a clear bottle or vase.

This would make a wonderful card for a special occasion.
These digital are available on Power Poppy.

I will never color as good as Alyce, but I can try.
Here are the cards that I made with these digital images.

I printed this one and colored it just like it is. It is a little larger than an A2 card as I find it easier to color the images. I used a die called Stitched Scallop Rectangle from Christmas Craft. Layered it on a base of blue card stock. I have long since mailed out this card to a friend.  I don't remember what Copic's I used.

For this card, I found that I was a bit overwhelmed by all of the images.  This is the beauty of digital. I centered in on the part that I wanted to color and just printed that part. On this day, that was enough for me.  This makes it possible to have many different looks from this one digital image.

A closer look at the rose. or it could be a peony.

Here are the  Copics I used on this card. I also used a spellbinder die called Scalloped Borders two. I have never used it in this way and I rather like it. The design paper is from my stash. The stencil in the background is from Memory Box called Texture Distressed Grid and the Distressed Oxide Tumbled Glass. There is a thin border of platinum embossing powder around the image.

Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your comments!

  4. I don't expect to ever be able to color like Alyce, but it's a nice dream. Meanwhile, you've got two beauties you're sharing here! It is a lot to color in one image, I agree, and so I like how you isolated just the one part of Volumes of Beauty. Clever!
