My friend and birthday sister, Nancy Leppek is celebrating one year of her new card challenge
Color Hues.
I am sure it has been a lot of work for her, but she enjoys it and after all, she has joined us retired crafters. As you can see the challenge is Yellow and Orange this time. There are prizes too.
that shakes out sometimes.
GKD Stamp Timeless Poppies
GKD Grateful sentiment die from Fluttering Fall Bundle.
I cut this to make a mini slimline card and used the rest of the stamp to make this next card. From my stash copper sequins and clear droplets. I took a deep breath and did splatters with
white and dark brown.
I have used this stamp set a number of times and I can see more in the future.
This card also used the Penny Black Die called Border Edges
Embossing folder by Darice called Wire Fence. Some twine from my stash and the Spellbinder die of the month Colorblock circles and stripes. Clear droplets from my stash.
Two beautiful cards Barbara. Glad you were able to get two cards from that lovely stamp. Your coloring is fabulous.
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are gorgeous, as is your coloring! Thanks for joining Color Hues for our first birthday celebration!
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous! Love that you got 2 out of this beautifully colored image. They look spectacular! I always love how you use that PB border too....now to find mine!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see you got two out of that gorgeous coloring and stamp! You are so talented as you have heard me say a million times before! I can see why you took a deep breath before you did your splatters. No worry to be had as they came out perfect! As for that grateful die...the font is so pretty! Thanks for joining us at Color Hues for our 1 year Anniversary...I really appreciate it!
