It is November I can't believe that we are getting close to the end of the year and November is the last month that Seize the Birthday Challenge posts. We take the month of December off to refresh!
This month Ashwini is the host and she has chosen the topping, Many of Something. You don't want to miss this one. Get out your crafty supplies and play along with us.
Here is my inspiration for you.
I used Simon Says background stamp ( Flora) and die cut ( Happy Birthday) as you see in the picture.
The technique that I did on the background is heat embossing and then some watercolor over the top. It was a day when I made many backgrounds that I could use later. This one came in very handy. The sentiment is one that you will see many times on my cards as it is easy and I love it. Some gold foil strips on the side and bling from my stash complete this card.
And if you are not into toppings, just make sure that it is a Birthday card.

Beautiful! I love them as flowers! Great colors, makes for such a delightful background! Super pretty! Love this!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card, Barb! Love that you gave the panel and border with a pop of gold. I love the loose watercoloring and the bold die!
ReplyDeleteWow, this is so beautiful! I love LOVE your watercolor and the colors you chose. I think they're flowers. Fabulous, Barb!
ReplyDeleteThis is so stinkin' pretty. You have melded red and green perfectly without getting mud. How did you do that. I love that emboss resist with the watercolor, I don't do that very often. Great design here! Oh, and I think those are flower petals......I think.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful water coloring! Love this
ReplyDeleteBarbara, this is so gorgeous. Your watercoloring is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteMy first thought is flowers but I can certainly see how they could pass as balloons. Lovely card!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fabulous background, Barbara! I love how the colors have blended and given birth to more colors - the textures are amazing as well. Gorgeous card!
