STB #304 Stenciling

Shirley Is the hostess for this next challenge at Seize the Birthday. I really when overboard with the stenciling! Not a surprise! I stenciled the background and the panel. I wish that I had used less ink the background, but I am anxious to see what you do. This is an opportunity to add to your collection of birthday cards.

Remember if you are not into toppings, just make sure it is a birthday card.

But ifs you use the topping, you may have a chance to be a guest designer on our next challenge.

Here is my example for you.

A script stamp from my stash

White and Black Gina K card stock
Greeting is Radiant Roses Greeting

Leslie is our Surprise Party Guest for this challenge.

Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your comments!

  1. Wow, Barb! Not overboard at all. Just gorgeous! The gray is a nice background color for your fun flowers, and I love the combo of stenciled pattern and stamped script.

  2. Such a great idea to use two different patterns of stencils on one card. I am going to have to give this a try very soon. The color of your flowers were really complimentary to the grey backgrounds. This is a very pretty card, Barb!

  5. Very pretty Barbara. I too used a stencil for a gray background, but only on part of the background. I like how you layered the flowers and mats.

  6. I love the background stencil you've used for this - I thought it was a piece of dp. The flower really pops against the script and the stencil!

  7. Love the stencilled background Barbara and the script stamp looks great ( I might have that stamp and it has been sadly neglected!) The pretty stencilled florals pop against the greys, clever design, Cathy x
