I actually made this card a while ago, but it still makes me smile. The background reminds me of busy bees and I and glad that I used the hexagons too. Notice that I die cut the large hexagon from the background and inset the flowers and bees. Those are some very BIG bees! Probably Queens!

This is fabulous Barb! I love how you made the scene through a giant hexagon and those flowers are perfect for your big bumblebees. This card has wonderful texture and is truly beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOh that textured background is so perfect for this Challenge, is it just me or do the raised images look like little bee wings fast a flutter?!? Perfect, I tell you! Bees and Daisies just go together.....like us! I have that same daisy die and love it! Your bees are the (bees) knees lol I'm gonna look up that expression! Great card--love it!

Simply gorgeous and definitely the "Bee's Knee's! Love all of the white and that daisy die needs to be in my stash. I've admired it every time you use it. Love that embossed background and window opening.

The background does remind me of bees when seen in this context, and I honed in on your use of the large hexagon with the smaller which wraps up the bee theme perfectly. Love the crisp black and white background, and I've always coveted those particular daisies. Your gems are like little drops of honey. I love it ALL!
