This is gorgeous, Barb! I love the curving die and of course the flowers too. Well done!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Barb. Love the pretty flower and those frames. I have yet to use mine. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteThis is striking! I love the undulating lines, ratio of black to white, and the asymmetrical balance. I also like how you used the embossing folder to add subtle interest to the background below the sentiment to keep the card from being top heavy without detracting from the flower.
ReplyDeleteBarbara, what a pretty black and white card. Love the pretty frame that showcases your beautiful flowers. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and Elegant! I do love a pretty black and white card and that is exactly what you have created! And WOW--you can really see that texture, heck I can almost feel it from here! Well done!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous framing Barbara, such a unique looking design that really suits black and white, Cathy x
ReplyDeleteAmazing what you can do with black and white! This is gorgeous, Barb! The wood embossing on black looks so cool in the background!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the welcome shout out, Barbara. I am so happy to be on the team! Your card is gorgeous! I have been eyeing that die set by Penny Black for a while now. I love that you embossed the smaller one. It adds lots of texture to your card.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous black and white card, Barbara! It’s got a lovely art nouveau feel to it with those soft curves.
ReplyDeleteOh my GOSH, I love this so much. That black background has so much movement and it's so classy. Great take on the challenge, my dear. Those flowers are PERFECT, and the gems are a perfect final touch.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Barbara! I love all of the wonderful curves and the great texture too. Perfect for the black & white challenge.
