Double D Challenge - Fall Colors

Hello crafters it is time for another challenge at Double D! This next two weeks our theme is Fall colors! The perfect time of year to make fall cards. Next week will be Thanksgiving in the US. You could combine these colors with a thanks card. Just saying! I would love to see what you enter.

My card for this challenge. 

This cover die has been in my room for a long time. I am sure that I got it from Kathy Krug as she gave me tons of die cuts.  It just spoke out to me to use it for this challenge.  I do not know the manufacturer.  

Using glue and gilded flakes in gold and copper, I cover some of the leaves.

Simply put it on a background and added the die cut sentiment from The Greetery.

Seize the Birthday Challenge #317 - Use Christmas Supplies

Ashwini is the host for this LAST challenge of the year. It is an interesting one, but if you give it some thought, you can do this. Another way to use your Christmas dies and stamps. 

I used Power Poppy's That's a Wrap for the bow and tag.

Spellbinders Snow Called Holiday for the ferns and berries and cone.

The Embossing folder is Mountain Meadows and I rubbed 

Weathered Wood ink over it. 

There is Wink of Stella on the bow and glossy accents on the berries. 

I wish it showed better.

Doube D Challenge - Fall Wreath

Hello my crafters! We have a great challenge for you and one that you can easily do. 

Diane is the host for this challenge in November and she has chosen the Fall Wreath for this next two weeks. This is the card that I did for that. 

I used stamps and dies from The Greetery for this card. Starting with the background of Shiplap dies coving the entire base card. Then the Hoop Wreath Stamp and die in green and again in brown ink. Using the Toadstool die for the mushrooms. The BotaniCuts wheat die was an addition. Spellbinders circle die colored in brown. Then the Spellbinders Gift and Border for the sentiment.  

This wreath die was originally a Christmas die, but as you can see, I was able to make it look like fall.
