Of course, I used the red, white and blue colors for my card. I thought the strip die from Lil' Inkers would do well on this design. The base is Navy, I colored the Azalea stamp set with Copic markers. R20,R24,R27 Then I printed out the free digi sentiment on to the DP from GKD. I cut that out with a tag die and also a red one to border it on. I still felt that I need to make more sense out of the sentiment, so I added a fishtail tag with Happy 4th and a red star. Then I felt it looked done and complete. This will be saved until July 4th, 2015 to be sent out in the mail.
I tried to get a close up shot of the azaleas, but my camera gets bleary. |
Here is where you can find out all of the requirements for this challenge. Have fun!

Thanks so much and I hope your holiday was filled with great memories and lots of good food and activities.
This is GORGEOUS!! Love your coloring, you are such a master of the Copic marker! And I must get that background die - so cool how you left some of the die cuts in place to set off the flowers. Really pretty card my dear!
ReplyDeleteBarbara, great card for this challenge. Love your details and design. Happy 4th!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I really like how you used the blue behind the die but left some white. The azaleas are beautifully colored. The whole effect is so striking.
