Absolutely stunning. I will pin this on pinterest
ReplyDeleteI love what you did here, used the bold paper beautifully. Even to fussy cutting the bloom on the vellum. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteBarbara, this is AWESOME! Yes that paper may be bold, but wow you really worked it with the design of your card, the added vellum and I love the tag and the flowers as accessories! Really stunning!
ReplyDeleteOh I love this! Great idea with those beautiful papers! Love how you trimmed the Vellum too with that beautiful die! I like that little flower and butterfly as accents, sooooo pretty! Nice banner and embossing too! LOVE it I tell you!!! (I made mine yesterday and trimmed the Vellum with a die too--great minds and all!)
ReplyDeleteThis is stunning. Love that dark patterned paper against the light blue card base. And your striped vellum panel just makes the card sing. Stripes and florals - one can never go wrong.
ReplyDeleteYour bold design paper and the vellum worked out SO beautifully together...I just LOVE this card!! I always gravitate to the bold patterned papers when I see them, but like you, I end up never using them because they compete with my stamping. I'm going to go dig them all out right now and get busy....thank you for the inspiration!! :0)
ReplyDeletethis is really lovely and definitely the perfect solution to the paper problem (that paper is so darned pretty but i can see it would be hard to use)
ReplyDeleteThis is so gorgeous and I love how you fussy cut the images from the pattern paper to pop over the vellum overlay.
ReplyDeleteOh, what a fabulous take on the technique! Wonderful card!
ReplyDeletewonderful card combination and great choice of paper!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous background paper and I love the vellum to soften it up a bit! Fabulous card Barbara! Have fun on your adventure!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to try this - love how you have done it here!!! And so clever to cut out a couple of images to accent. Love your banner too, and great choice of base paper. Really cute card!!!
ReplyDeleteOh Barbara you have created a masterpiece here. Loved your idea of how you softened the beautiful dp. Lovely finishing touch with the flower spray on top. Happy Adventures!
ReplyDeleteWow! This is fabulous! The patterned paper is so sweet and perfect for softening with your vellum. Truly stunning!
ReplyDeleteI love the images you cut out from the patterned paper; great idea!! The vellum is perfect to soften the area for your greeting and cut outs. And your blue banner and card base look amazing with that paper. Great card!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Love the striped vellum and your hand-cut embellishments.
ReplyDeleteI love this idea...what a great solution to a bold pattern! Love the little accents that you added too! SUPER job!!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful card! Love how you added the vellum paper, just perfect! I'll have to remember this for future cards.
ReplyDeleteYour card really stands out and is lovely!
ReplyDeleteI love the pretty colors in your paper, but you have made it even more beautiful with the addition of the Vellum.....so much interest there. Stunning card!
ReplyDeleteOh the velum is perfect on that PP. I love that you used the vellum with the designs. It creates such an interesting effect. Using a flower an the butterfly from the paper really ties the whole thing together.
