Color Lessons Learned

Lesson #10 – Color Theory: Monochromatic

The last lesson for summer school by Mt Favorite Things is Monochromatic.  The hardest decision was what color to use.  I decided on red, and used the inks from Gina K Designs.  They  are Cherry Red, Red Hot and Tomato Soup.  The stamp set is Pretty Poppies and is a new one for me.
I stamped the flowers and leaves and sentiment, in the same colors that I used to sponge the background.  There is a partial die cut from spellbinders and pink liquid pearls to complete.
Here is my last homework for this week.

Just a quick post today.  thanks so much for stopping by and taking time to leave a comment.  I do appreciate them.

  2. Monochrome is one of my favorite looks. This is just beautiful - I love the flowers, the shading on the background, and that pretty border. This is just a really great card!!
