Powere Poppy Sparklette

I just realized that September is almost gone, and I have not made a card for a challenge other than the challenges that I host.  Well, that is over as of right now.  I got a lot of happy mail the end of August, and I have decided that I need to use it before I buy any more.  ( Ok, you are the only guys that I have told this to, so If I do buy something, don't squeal on me.)
Power Poppy is having a very different challenge during the month of September, this one is #3
Color outside the lines — whatever that means to you.

There are some great examples out there already, including a free digit that Marcella recently did.  Let It Be is perfect for what I thought of when coloring outside the lines.  Since there were a few of those already done, I used a new stamp that was one of those Happy Mails that I got.  The set is called Dream Wedding.
Here is my example of coloring outside the line.

It was hard not to color the image.
I stamped and colored the image first and then die cut it using the Frantic Stamper die, ovals and Filigree Frame #12.
I stamped the sentiment in a fine ribbon with StazOn ink.
The oval is popped out with adhesive tape.
I added the pearls, but noticed that during the photographing, they slipped.  I will fix that quickly.

Check out the challenge here
Thanks for stopping by to take a closer look.  I love our comments.

Such pretty, soft color, and your coloring is fantastic! And that intricate oval cover plate is gorgeous..I think I need something like that. I love it every time you use it.

  4. You did a beautiful job of coloring outside the lines. I would find that hard to do myself as well as I would be so tempted to color that cake or decorate it somehow. But yours turned out so well I might have to try that too some time soon too.
