Hello, my crafty friends! It is the new year and the Christmas decorations have been taken down and the Christmas card list has been updated for next year. Now it is time to get down to some serious crafting. I'm Barbara, we have been lucky to spend the winters in a warmer climate, Florida. That means I need a second craft room. I bring with me a lot of stuff that I need and have a lot here too. What I didn't bring, is my stash of cards that I like to have on hand to mail out to friends and family.
I set out to make one style card that I can put different sentiments on, to full up my stash. If you are interested, here is my card.
I cut a bunch of daisies in white card stock with the die from Penny Black called Bashful.
Then I colored them while still in the card stock. It makes it easier to do and is very fast.
Next, I cut several of these Antique Frames by Penny Black in colors that would coordinate with the cards that I am making.
Add a little ink around the edges to add dimension to the card.
Of course, some dots to make them fun.

All
of these cards were made pieces that were cut before, now I just
adhered the daisy to the front and added a different sentiment to each
one. The sentiments are from the stamp set by Gina K designs called
Fabulous Frames.
Now I have a few cards ready to send out as needed. Makes me feel happy.
You can find the dies that I used on these cards in the Dies R Us store.
Penny Black Antique Frame
currently out of stock, but you could use any rectangle frame.
The Penny Black Bashful die is no longer available. I think that this one would look great too.
