Power Poppy - Fun Friday

Since we are sheltering in and have more time to create fun and interesting cards, here is one that I made this week for Fun Friday at Power Poppy.
I will get right to it.

I used spring colors on this one and the digital stamp called Bees in Foxglove
Colored it up with my Copics and some pencils too  Then fussy cut it out, yes I did! This originally was going to go in a watercolor paper background, but I ended up cutting out an oval that I liked from a section. I only used one of the branches of the foxglove.  With digital images, you can do that.

Fun close up of the card.  I sure hope that crafting makes you feel better like it does for me. It does take up time as well. Please stay safe and well.  Hugs to you all!

  1. This is just stunning!!! Your coloring, as always, is perfect. And fussy cutting the image really gives it a 3D look. Really pretty background, and then the black and white stripe just makes the whole thing pop. It adds that extra element that just sends this over the top. It's simply gorgeous, I love everything about it!!!

  4. I love this card. Your background is so very pretty with the sponging and added stenciling. I going to copy that idea. The striped paper is perfect too and of course the pretty flower. I sent a picture to my sister. She has been asking how I would use coloring on cards.
