The new challenge at Color Hues really got my mojo going! That and all of the new stamps and dies that seemed to land in my mailbox. Well, It was my birthday week, just saying.
Here is the card that I am entering in this challenge.
( looks like I need to trim my shiplap)
You all know that Fixer Upper show by Chip and Joanna Gaines, well Shiplap has come to card making and I am here to show you. I was so thrilled to see this die and I ordered it along with the gorgeous stamp and die shown here. They came in just a few days and I was able to play with them.
I already had the Signed and Sealed set.
I started out just swiping my ink pad across the cardstock and then die cutting the shiplap. That was my background for this card. I stamped and die cut the flowers and the envelope, place them on the front and that was it.
Signed and Sealed set.
Gina K ink Tranquil Teal, Tangerine Twist and Coral Reef
Vellum die cut from Spellbinders that was sitting on my desk.
I love the color combo and, or course, those beautiful The Greetery dies and stamps. Lovely card!
ReplyDeleteYour ship lap card is fabulous! I use to watch Chip and Joanna religiously but now I am hooked on Ben and Erin's-Home Town and the Marr's family-Fixer to Fabulous! If you haven't seen them they are a must! As for you the rest of your elements on your card...I love the flowers, the bold greeting, and the vellum was a nice subtle touch in the background. Way to make the colors shine this week at Color Hues! I appreciate you joining in the fun! HUGS!
