Paper Players Challenge 546

A new challenge for me.  My friend Nancy Leppek is a guest host t Paper Players.  I find that I have some time on my hands. What do I do with that?  I make a card. It is the sketch challenge for this week.

I pretty much stuck with the sketch as you can see by my card below.

GKD Chocolate Brown card base and panels of Coral Reef.
My friend Judy Woodland pointed out that I use gray a lot.  This card is for her. Lol
I used an embossing folder on the panels called Flower Pod by Darice
The Greetery Autumn word die cut three times from gold and the Botanicuts Wheat Die
The circle was a scrap from my box of a background that didn't work out. I am glad that I saved it
as it works now.

Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your comments!

  1. This is beautiful and I am glad you decided to share it with us! I have seen that gorgeous "Autumn" around a lot in blogland, I may have to hop over to the Greetery to check it out myself! Love your warm autumn hues! Thanks for playing along with my Paper Players sketch this week!

  2. This is such a great autumn card! Love all your earth tones and the EF too! Thanks for playing at The Paper Players, I appreciate it! HUGS!

  3. How gorgeous, I LOVE the colors (lol). But, nothing wrong with a little gray either. It's a great backdrop for almost anything. I really love your design here, that sprig of wheat is perfect. This is stunning, you just keep getting better and better.

  4. The chocolate and coral reef are striking together. What a gorgeous card with the wheat and the bit of gold and the embossed panels. Really beautiful, Barb, and not a bit of gray in sight (ha)!

  5. Barbara the warmth of the coral with the deep brown and shades of yellow/gold is just beautiful; add to that the texture of those panels and your wheat stems, it makes for a perfect autumn card. Thanks for sharing with us over at The Paper Players this week - hope you can join us again soon!

  6. So pretty! Love the rich color combo to celebrate the fall season. Thanks so much for joining us this week over at The Paper Players!

  7. the three panels layered with the Gold layers really works. The wheat looks great for texture and dimension. Great design.
