My friend Judy Woodland is the hostess for this two week challenge and I am in! It certainly sounded like fun and I needed some encouragement to get some crafting done. Goodness, it has been over a month for me. The challenge is to make a background with your stamps and then only include a greeting. Judy referred to a You Tube video that she watched recently. She refers to that on her blog
Here. It is called a one sheet wonder and you can make several cards with this technique.
My first try was too crowded with images, so I tried it again and it worked better using one a few stamps. Here is what I got.

This is the card that I am entering in this challenge, but I wanted to show you the others that I got from using this technique.
Inks from Gina K, Tomato Soup, Sweet Corn, Grass Green
The stamp set, Love & Prayers ( this is an oldie, but goodie rubber stamp)
Gina K Master Layouts dies 1 and 2.
Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your comments!
Oh I LOVE this. You have nailed that technique, isn't it fun? I am addicted to watching Ruth do her magic. I like the colors and stamps you used, and the card panel is a great color too. The black die cut greeting is perfect, well done!!! Great take on the challenge, thanks so much for playing along with me!!! XO~
ReplyDeleteLovely backgrounds with this technique. Love the colors you used and the big greetings. TFS
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
Welcome back from your wonderful trip and back to the craft room. This does look like fun. And these are gorgeous. I must watch the video.
ReplyDeleteI watched the video and am so inspired but don't think I have the right kind of stamps. How I love what you've done here. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteI have to give this a try sometime as it would make things much faster when I am producing cards for the stores. I love each background by themselves, but the pretty dies that you used really brought these cards to life! Well done! Thanks for the inspiration too!
