Guest for Color Hues

I am thrilled to join the team at Color Hues for this next challenge. There was a suggestion on Share Handmade Kindness to make a special card to show our support for Ukraine.  I am so sad to see these people suffering and hope that they will see our support in this small way.  You can make a card in the challenge colors that were already selected which are Green and Gold or to make a card using the Ukraine flag colors of Blue and Yellow

Here is my card in Blue and Yellow showing Ukraine's sunflower.

Supplies for this card are:
After smooshing some watercolor paper with Distress Oxide Salty Ocean, I die
cut it with PinkFresh Radiating background.
The yellow card stock is Gina K Sweet Corn. ( it looks gold here)The heart is from
The Greetery Heart Leaf Pose Pocket.
I cut one side with yellow and the other with some of the blue smooshed paper.
The sunflower is from Altenew Seasonal Blooms stamped and die cut, then colored.
The leaves are from The Greetery Lovely Blossoms
and the sentiment is Gina K Designs Love and Prayers (old one)
This is certainly a collaboration of many companies to make this one card.
I am aslo entering this card in the current Mod Squad Challenge
This would be a fun challenge to enter for the next two weeks.
Be sure to see what all of the team has done for your inspiration.
Best wishes and please say a prayer for the people in Ukraine.

Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your comments!

  2. This is so beautiful! I love that your card is truly wrapped in love! I think we are all at a loss of what we can actually do, but to unite as card makers and create to lend support is easy enough for us all! xoxo
