Shirley is our host for the next two weeks and she has picked Faux or Real stitching.
of course, if you are not into toppings, just make sure that it is a birthday card.
I stitched up a few flowers while watching TV and added them to a card.
The die is a spellbinder die and I just used the single flowers for this card.
The sentiment is Simon Says and has a vellum shadow. The design paper is from my stash.
We had a new SURPRISE PARTY GUEST.
Read more about her HERE
She will be with us for the months of May and June.
Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your comments!
So awesome! Love the cheery yellow too
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers, love the leaves in grey! That pretty yellow background is a perfect backdrop and I love all of the white accents and your Vellum sentiment shadow.
ReplyDeleteOh, pretty idea for the stitching challenge! These dies are quite the hot ticket right now. I love your card, Barb!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty card, Barb! I love the yellow and grey pairing! That sentiment will be a very useful one too! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Barb! Those stitched flower dies are so pretty and I love how you’ve paired them with the yellow leaf background.
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty. I am such a fan of the stitched dies, they are so much fun to do. I love your background paper and that pretty yellow color. I'm pretty sure I have this die set, so I think I better pin. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThis is soooo pretty!!!! And real stitching too! (I did last time but defaulted to faux this time around.) Great mix with the paper too.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Barbara :-) the embroidered flowers are so pretty and I love the sentiment! I will have to get me that die! ;-)

ReplyDeleteWowie!! I love, love, LOVE this one! How awesome is your stitching - really wonderful card!
ReplyDeleteYou seem so casual about this stitching - 'oh I just whipped these up while watching TV'. These are so stunning!!! The background paper coordinates perfectly and I love how you did the sentiment.
