Here is the card that I did for this first challenge.

Using the digital image called Magnolia Sunshine, I printed this beauty out on Cryogen white metallic paper, great for Copic markers, but you can use any smooth paper. This image consists of Saucer Magnolias, Trumpet Daffodils, and Snowdrops. I googled pictures of all of them so that I could do realistic coloring. For this card, I only used part of the image that I colored as I wanted to use this new die to me from Paper Trey Ink called Elegant Edge Lace. I cut out the lowest flower and leaves with a sharp Exacto knife so that I could use the die the way that I wanted. I should have thought this out better, but in the end, I was happy with the results. It was added to a pink card base.

Here are the other teammates that are participating in this first Challenge.

  6. You know, I'm staring and staring at this and cannot figure out how you got that die cut border underneath the image. I get that you partially cut it, but can't figure out how you got the border under there. This is so stunning, your coloring is simply FABULOUS!!! LOVE that you used the pink card base, really makes the colored image pop. I have never heard of that paper either, how did you come upon it? Donna is right, you started this off with a BANG!!!!
