For my card, I actually when to a very old stamp that I have had for years. I don't believe that I have ever used it. I applied a new technique for the background and got this card.
Gina K showed us how to do this background and you can see it here. It is called the torn stencil technique. I used the old rubber stamp called, You Light up my Life. A stencil, water droplets, and a sentiment from Never Loose Hope. ( an incentive set) Turquoise Sea ink, and a sponge brush. Master layouts 2 die. Just when I thought that I would clean out some of my old stamps, I was able to make this card and I quite like it. Guess I will keep it for a while.
Here is a look at the inside. My BFF Donna finishes her cards and she has motivated me to do the same.
Be sure to check out the challenge here to see what the other team members have created for you.
I am also entering this card in the Colorful Options Challenge .
Where the challenge is Tranquill Turquoise.
