This is the inspiration board that Diane did for us.
This is the prize
My card made long before I knew that MFT was going out of business.
Boy I guess that I used more of their stamps and dies than I thought.
Here is another card using the bunnies.

Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your comments!
Adorable trio of musical mice! Beautiful choice of colors and your coloring is always spot on. The vellum background adds a nice touch and brings this band full circle! I love the die cut notched frames and plaid paper.
ReplyDeleteI've always thought these bunnies were adorable and I'm so happy to see them still being used. I love the colors you've used. Your card is adorable! I didn't realize MFT was going out of business. So sad to see another crafty company closing its doors.
ReplyDeleteSo adorably CUTE, a mice band, how fun! PS: I created the mood board, not Darlene LOL!!
ReplyDeleteOh but what a trip! Yeah 17 days must have been a bit much, but the adventure will out weigh that!!! Glad you're home safe and sound! This card is fantastic! I adore the marching band mice! Here on summer Friday nights we have our own Chatham Band Concerts, a HUGE draw for locals and tourists a like! Have not yet brought either girls as yet...next year? Anyways, back to your FUN card. Love the images and that gorgeous plaid background! This is a gem!
ReplyDeleteI love a road trip, but 17 days does sound like a lot of bus sitting. When we went in our RV we stopped a lot, walked trails, explored. I miss that. However, you had some wonderful experiences and added lovely memories to your cache and you just can't beat that! MFT may have gone out of business, but their stamps and dies live on as cute and fun as ever. You've shown that superbly! These noisemakers are darling, and you have a cute design for them to march around on. So many of my supplies are from companies out of business. This list grows longer every day.
ReplyDeleteOh my friend, this is just adorable! And, yes, so many crafting companies are going out of business these days! But like you, I will continue to create with what I have in my stash ... too cute not too! Love your choice of color & design! OH and LOVED following along on your trip ... you guys saw some awesome sites!! I totally understand the 'being too old' for those long trips ... our last trip nearly killed me lol. If/When we do another, it will NOT be 3 weeks long!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable card! I have that set, and every time I use it, I can't help but smile!! LOVE the colors, especially since they match that FABULOUS plaid background. Can't go wrong with plaid. Well done, I am MAD about this cute creation!!
ReplyDeleteThis is darling, Barb! I really love the colors you chose and that beautiful font sentiment too. Well done!
