The new monthly mix challenge at Gina K Designs if called "Flag You're it! "
It is easy we are just to use colors of any flag that we pick on our project.
I decided to pick the Greek flag as we have planned a trip to Greece next year. Yeah!
Just two colors on this flag made it very easy.
you can find the challenge HERE
I used Blue Denim ink and white card stock for this one. The stamp and die are from Sentimental Summer. The entire panel was die cut with Spellbinder Venise Lace. I layered that panel on a blue card stock that matched better IRL than in this photo. I also die cut one flower and the two leaves and pop them up.
I appreciate your comments and love them all.
Very striking! I love the beautiful blue flowers against that snowy white background. What a fun challenge! You are planning a trip to Greece? How wonderful!
ReplyDeletePretty card. Love the blue flowers on the pretty die cut background.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you will have fun planning your trip to Greece next year. Enjoy.
GORGEOUS! What a beautiful design my friend! WOW a trip to Greece! How exciting!!
ReplyDeleteThat is a gorgeous card you made.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun idea for a challenge. Loce how you took the one whole flower and made it the focal image. Your triangle formatations are flawless and putting the focal image in the center of a triangle and off to the left unusual, but very eye catching.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful. I love the flag you chose, I am still scratching my head as to which one to do. Great use of those dies and stamps, I haven't pulled that set out for awhile. I really like that die cut panel too, it really lends itself well to the whole design. You have inspired me.....gotta go look at flags now...lol.
ReplyDeleteOh Yay! We loved Greece! Love the blue and white color scheme. Your Dahlias are delightful! I like how some are stamped and then that pretty one stamped and die cut, lots of dimension! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteLovely card! Love the die cut panel. Have fun in Greece.
