Seize the Birthday - Hobbies and Pastimes #228

This is our last challenge for this year of 2021.
I think that the theme is a super one and Lindsey is the hostess.

I hope that you try this theme, but if not, just remember
to make it a Birthday Theme.
Here is my card.

This is me!  Really, as I am the happiest in my craft room making cards. I have had this stamp for quite some time and unfortunately had not used it much. It is perfect for this challenge theme.
The background is a stamp from Taylored expressions called A Life She Lived.  I used the jar of brushes to make my background. I sponged inks of Festives berries, Peeled Paint, and Salty Ocean over it, after heat embossing with white. The stamp is MFT Crafty Friends.
I left the inside blank, but this will make a great Birthday card for one of my crafty friends.
I have met so many kind and amazing crafty people in this business. How could I not be happy?

Please check out the blog for more ideas Here

Happy Thanksgiving!
Wishing you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy 2022!

Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your comments!

  5. I remember wanting this stamp when it first came out and I passed on it. I adore it and have one in my studio that JoAnn made for me. Awesome job my friend, the background was creative too!

  6. Oh, so cute and such a fun and pretty background as well! I'm glad you had a chance to finally use this adorable stamp. This is my #1 hobby, too. After that it would be gardening, but I really love to do so many things. Such a true sentiment to go with this darling image!
