Christmas Joy is our theme for this first challenge in December. How appropriate is that?
But there is a twist, you must use the word JOY on your project. Diane, you are a tricky hostess.
Here is the inspiration board for you.
Lots of use of the word JOY.
Well here is my story, I have a word die JOY, but it is in Flordia. I know that I have it, because when I looked in my bits box and saw it. It was red card stock. So I placed it on my desk and kept an eye on it. If I could not wait until traveling to Florida, I would use it. As you can imagine, I wanted to get this done and not have to worry about it, so I forged ahead with what I had.
Here is the result
Too bad that you can't see the gloss on my JOY. I accidentally found this embossing powder in my stash and what a surprise for me. I will be taking this with me where ever I go. Seriously!Of course, my friend Donna Phelan always does the inside and so I need to keep up with her.
Supplies for this one are: Paper Trey Ink JOY die
The Greetery Botanicuts Pine Bough and Plaid background
Gina K Designs Festive Foliage for the sentiment.
Stampin Up embossing powder Glassey Glaze ( found this in my stash and I will not be without is again)
For anyone that enters this challenge, a random winner will be given this gift.
Make sure that you go to the blog to see what the entire team has for you.
Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your comments!

ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful Barb! So glad you had all that you needed to create this beauty.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Inside and Out!!! lol Years and years ago you sent me a bunch of those one liner die cuts, I still have a few. Your card looks AHmazing! Love that pretty red and glossy JOY and your background. The greenery and oine cones are a lovely accent! And you finished the inside! (now we just have to stamp our 'creation' stamp on the background when making--I always wait until mailing and it is a pain in the neck lol) Merry Merry!
