Double D Challenge - Winter

Darlene has provided some lovely picture of winter things for this next
Challenge at Double D.

It has been a long time since I have actually experienced winter, as we are fortunate to go to a warm climate for our winters, but I do remember making snow men. That was my inspiration for my card.

Prize for a random winner.

Penny Black cardstock prints

My card

Supplies for this card are: Waffle Flower Postage Stamp Collage Die
Stampin Up stamp called Thanks Snow Much (a very old stamp)
No longer available. I just love the melted snowman and the Miss You sentiment.
With this postage stamp die, you can use many stamps that will fit into the areas. I am so glad that I still have this one. I have to say that I am so used to the polymer stamps, that going back to a rubber stamp made the placement more difficult, but not impossible

Be sure to visit the blog for more inspiration from the team.

Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your comments!

  4. Nope, don't imagine it snows much in Florida. I'm looking at a lot of rain and wind debris right now and thinking snow would be prettier. Cute stamps! The set looks like a keeper. Perfect placement in the postage sections. I still use my old Stamp-a-ma-Jig for positioning wood block stamps.

  7. These stamps fit the postage die perfectly. Your frosty card is as cute as can be! I agree that I'm a little jealous that you don't have to deal with winters too. I'm hoping my time is coming when I can spend most of the winter in a warmer climate as well. Great card for this challenge and Happy Thanksgiving to you!
